What brought down my expectations of these guys really came down to being the path that they chose to evolve their music. Change may or may not help out a band. If you find that you are receiving more praise for your previous works, don't stray too far from that. If you were to compare this to their "The Poison" album, you can undoubtedly see that they have tried to become something they aren't. It's not a significant difference, but as such, even their previous album, "Fever," should have also been a red flag that much of their fan-base disapproved of their new change. Nevertheless, it's still one of my favorite albums and well worth your time.
---I give this a 4/5.
